Aaron is born and raised Alaskan. He completed most of his undergraduate work at the University of Alaska Anchorage, financed by working in local construction and coffee production.
His legal career began in Anchorage, Alaska as law clerk to then Superior Court Judge Craig Stowers (who has since retired as a Chief Justice of the Alaska Supreme Court).
As an assistant prosecutor for the Municipality of Anchorage and for the District Attorney's Office in Anchorage. Aaron worked misdemeanors and felonies in Anchorage, Whittier, and Dillingham, as a line attorney and trial team supervisor. Aaron completed 13 years of public service with terms in the Alaska Department of Law Child Protection and Medicaid Fraud Control Units. In private practice he has helped clients understand, manage, and resolve problems from traffic tickets to felonies, business, construction, contract, child support and custody, divorce, employment, estate planning and probate, real estate, and other litigation challenges.
There are few things Aaron enjoys more than family: watching wife & daughter choreograph and dance or his sons run the rugby pitch together, hiking, and spending time with brothers, sisters, and many nieces and nephews.
